Job Overview

Key Responsibilities

Develop and design embedded software solutions for Linux and bare-metal systems using programming languages such as C, Go, and Python.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including electrical, mechanical, and sensor engineers, to ensure seamless software integration with hardware systems.
Conduct code reviews and provide mentorship to junior developers, fostering a culture of growth and learning.
Maintain comprehensive documentation for software releases and provide technical assistance to internal teams.
Engage in various software development tasks, including hardware abstraction layers, signal processing, and user interface design using Python and HTML/JavaScript.
Travel to Europe for work-related projects a few times a year.

Required Skills

A minimum of 5 years of experience in designing and troubleshooting embedded software, with expertise in C and Python.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
Proficiency in C and familiarity with additional programming languages such as Go or JavaScript/TypeScript.
Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills, with experience in software testing and version control systems like Git.
Knowledge of embedded systems concepts, including bootloaders, network protocols, and bus interfaces (I2C, SPI, UART, PCIe, etc.).
Competence in utilizing lab instruments such as logic analyzers and JTAG debuggers.
Willingness to undertake short-term business travel.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (preferred).
At least 3 years of experience with Python (preferred).
1 year of experience with Rust (preferred).
5 years of experience in C (required).
